Grantown On Spey makes an excellent base from which to follow the whisky trail, do some fishing, or discover Loch Ness and Inverness. For golf enthusiasts, within six to eight miles there is the Carr-bridge golf course, Boat of Garten golf course, the Nethy-bridge golf course and the Grantown golf club championship course.
