Mittelberg lies at 1215 meters and is the highest and oldest place in the Kleinwalsertal which due to its geographical situation can only be reached by car from Germany.||Coming from Oberstdorf in the Allgäu you pass through Riezlern and Hirschegg and then through a few small villages - the 2,000 meter mountains close in and the valley is cut off from the outside world. The lack of through traffic guarantees peace and relaxation.||This does not mean that nothing happens in the Kleinwalsertal! On the contrary - après-ski for all tastes is assured by the many cafés, huts and other places, including a vivid night-life. Many shops and restaurants complete the picture.||Mittelberg in the snow is a real experience for winter sport enthusiasts. There are many pistes in the surrounding area where all skiers can test their skills. There are also many sledging and cross-country skiing possibilities in and around Mittelberg.
